New Service: One-on-One Design Consultations for Homeowners and Developers

When you're thinking about starting a new building project—whether it’s a renovation, a completely new home, or a larger development—it’s common to feel a bit stuck. You might have a rough idea of what you want, but you're unsure of what's possible, how to move forward, or whether it's even feasible within your budget.

Sometimes, all you really need is a sounding board.

We’re excited to now offer 90-minute design consultation sessions for homeowners and developers looking for early guidance before diving into a full project. These sessions are a chance to talk through your ideas, ask questions, and get honest, experienced input from an award-winning architectural practice—all for a fixed fee and with no obligation to continue.

Who are these sessions for?

These consultations are perfect if you:

  • Want clear direction before engaging an architect or builder

  • Have an idea but need expert insight on what’s possible

  • Are seeking creative yet practical input grounded in real-world buildability

  • Want to avoid wasting time or money going down the wrong path

What to expect

Each 90-minute session is tailored to your specific needs. We’ll listen carefully, review your goals or site constraints (if available), and help you understand your options. You'll leave the session with greater clarity, better direction, and actionable next steps—whether you're ready to start now or just testing the waters.

We currently offer two formats:

  • Online sessions (available NZ-wide) – $300 incl. GST

  • In-person sessions (Nelson–Tasman region) – $350 incl. GST

Ready to get started?

There’s no pressure to commit beyond the session—this is about giving you the confidence and clarity to move forward, whatever that looks like for you.
